The cross knights whipped the massacre of Jerusalem in the evening 7th June, finally, her camp close to Jerusalem. Just 20,000 of more than 100,000 pilgrims could still take pleasure in the sight of the city. The crusaders start to build laboriously with it siege machines. Once more the Kreuzzügler were tormented by hunger and thirst, besides, it came almost daily to smaller battles. As soon as the pilgrims had finished the siege devices, they began with the storm on the city. On the 15th of July the troops of God Jerusalem conquered. What followed was one of the darkest chapters of the Christian history. The soldiers slaughtered everything down what to them in Jerusalem above the way ran, even women and children were slaughtered. Besides, also on the religious Angehörigkeit one took no consideration. The Christians still present in the city and Jews were just hit in pieces like the Muslims. About 60,000 people found the death by the soldiers in the name of the Christian God. Only the occupying of the stronghold and some happy should have survived after the chroniclers.
